# Can I make my profile private or public?
### You can turn on/off your public profile from your Settings Page. Below are other visibility settings.
* **Make your profile public: **Only stories approved to be public by your company will show on your public profile page.
* **Allow people to follow you: **Coworkers are notified when you publish a story or get named in a story. People outside your company will be notified when a story you publish or get named in becomes public.
* **Do not allow people to add you to stories: **If you do not want to be named and recognized in stories select this. You can still author stories.
