Yes. Stories that you write or get named in show up on your personal profile page AND public profile page if your company approved it to be public.
You also have the control of whether or not to show the story on either of your profile pages. Go to My Settings/My Stories. Toggle Yes/No for each story under Public Profile and Work Profile.
